In this talk, I will share our experience of developing new devices using the Matter protocol: a smart plug, an LED strip, and smart bulbs. I will discuss the testing stages each device went through, the challenges we faced while expanding smart speaker functionality, why smart bulbs can flicker, and the importance of galvanic isolation.

At Yandex, we were the first in Russia to work with this protocol and successfully integrated it into our ecosystem.
