Test Coverage 2.0: Total Confidence in Testing Quality

In this presentation, I will discuss how the integration of test coverage metrics into the testing process can enhance product quality and optimise the approach to test execution. Focusing on test coverage during the preparation and execution of tests will allow us to not only identify which parts of the product have been tested and which have not, but also to detect which modules lack attention and what issues the project faces in terms of requirements management.

Additionally, I will examine how to calculate test coverage and conduct test analytics on projects experiencing problems with requirements management: on projects with untraceable requirements, with non-atomic requirements, or even those where requirements are not managed at all.

To conclude, we will discuss the metrics that can be derived from the calculated test coverage, and I will present several methods for documenting these metric calculations.
