In short: we migrated our load testing scripts for WebSocket and REST API from Performance Center to Locust. Along the way, we tackled hundreds of migration challenges, implemented an orchestrator for distributed test execution, and overcame async issues in load testing.
The problem we solved: Conducting load testing for WebSocket and REST API interactions in complex systems using Locust.
Technologies used: Python, Locust, Greenlet, WebSocket (though the approach can be applied to other protocols as well).
