Intelligence is Artificial, and Testing is Human

  • 40 min

AI is attacking again. It writes code, fixes bugs, writes autotests, and even prepares test scenarios. The only thing left is for it to deploy itself and send a report to the manager.
So, the obvious question is: do we still need testers at all?

Spoiler: yes, we do. And here’s why.

This talk won’t be about “AI is our friend and helper” or which neural network to plug into your pipeline. Instead, I’ll focus on where the illusion breaks down — where AI fails because it can’t feel, guess, or suspect that users are different and sometimes unpredictable.

I’ll show real-life examples of bugs AI misses, but humans catch — thanks to intuition, context, experience, and sometimes just a bad feeling. And, of course, good old-fashioned common sense, which still resists automation.

If you’re also tired of hearing that AI will replace everything, come along for a conversation about where it still falls flat — and why a good tester should be happy about it.
