Total Testing Control

  • 40 min

In our culture, “control” often has a negative connotation — as if being controlled means you’re doing something wrong. But noooooo!

Imagine yourself as a pilot. You want to know your exact altitude, speed, and external temperature. You want to be sure that the engineer ran through all 143 pre-flight checks — not just “most of them, I guess.” When you turn the yoke 4 degrees, you check the course adjustment on your instruments. Testing works the same way!

We need to verify that nothing has been overlooked. We need to monitor metrics to assess system status. We need visual management dashboards to quickly detect any deviations. In short, testing is a complex aircraft, not an old wooden cart—and we should treat it accordingly.

This talk will include a ton of screenshots for every scenario—just like a full set of diagnostic sensors for high-altitude manoeuvres!
