From QC to QA: How We Transformed Startup Processes into Company-Level Practices

In most Russian companies, processes are focused on testing — QC (Quality Control) — rather than QA (Quality Assurance). At Alfa-Capital, we were no exception.

In this talk, I will share how things used to be, the pain points we faced, and the turning point that pushed us to change. I will explain how, from within the testing department, we reshaped development and analysis processes, introduced developer-written automated tests, implemented metrics, and even launched a “wall of shame”.
