Model based testing: a horror or a working tool?

  • 40 min

There are many myths about model based testing (MBT): "it can't be used in real life", "it's too expensive", "it's too sophisticated". Yes, there is ground for these myths. The examples described in the literature are either simple and utterly useless or too complex and full of obscure mathematical terminology. In fact, the complexity of MBT approach is exaggerated. It is determined by the complexity of the models, and they can be made relatively simple while still worth. I'll show some examples how to use MBT to make your existing automated tests even better. And it will be inexpensive and easy.
