Testing of absolutely black box. QA for Windows services

This topic describes the question about so familiar but unexplored for many people Windows operating systems component as services. The report provides main differences between services and other applications and the areas of application for services. Reviewed proved and applicable approaches that are used to start services testing such as functional testing, negative testing, reliability testing, configuration testing, load and stress testing. Described the ways for services testing automation and for services working profiling. In addition there are given examples for all mentioned issues from the real project involving testing of Windows file system monitor service.
