Is the test task panacea or giglet

Almost always the starting point of consideration of the candidate for a qa position is a test task. Such tasks are very various - from primitive to laborious. But, are these tasks really good? Can employer see candidate's potential? Answers to these questions are not always positive. Often, the employer loses a valuable candidate, because the test task doesn't relate with employee's qualities, that required for a certain job position. In my report I'll show the process of making of a test task step by step from scratch, and I'll share interesting and creative examples from my personal experience.
