Features of testing audio\video interfaces

After the report by Nataliya Zayats on SQA'16 “Test the hardware while it is hot!” the audience had a number of additional questions regarding the details of testing audio\video interfaces. In my report I will tell about the various communication interfaces, standards of data transmission via these interfaces and the features of their testing. You will learn about popular analog standards (such as CVBS, RGB, YUV) and interfaces (RCA, SCART), and the most popular digital interface - HDMI. The basic documents for each standard and the necessary equipment for measurements will be described, examples will be given and the features of testing will be described
