Migration testing. How to succeed

There are a lot of reasons for project migration. Starting from “simple” move to a new DB version or a server upgrade and up to extra complicated, including business rules re-design that effect of huge data volumes. What can hamper such migration and how to set up the testing process from scratch – will be reviewed in this talk.

The goal of this talk is to get into the migration of financial project from SAS/SQL to SAP HANA that contains tons of business rules, terabytes of data. Also, we’ll go through details of the testing approach and its adoption to the reality.
