Most of the time, in my work as a tester, I was faced with tasks that were not very different from those I was already dealing with. And when a feature came to our development, it was impossible to provide the necessary level of quality with previous tools. Therefore, we decided not just to find new ones. We tried to change the approach to the quality assurance process, which generated new practices, new processes, new tools (of course) and, in general, changed the attitude to projects and tasks. For me, it was the moment when I realised the difference between testing and QA, and I will try to tell you, by my own example, how you can change your outlook on work before circumstances force you to do it in the shortest possible time and by racking up all kinds of bumps.
