Almighty SDETs and what the letter T has to do with it

  • 40 min
Let's talk about T-shape specialists. What is the secret of their productive work? And most importantly — how to grow them? Let's take an example of a QA automation team.

Often, the necessary tools for effective work are at the mercy of other teams, loaded with their tasks. Excessive communication reduces the productivity of the teams involved, and eventually the benefits of synergy are lost.

Using the example of interaction between AQA and Frontend, I will tell and show how to speed up the automation process without resorting to the help of Frontend developers. As a result, we are growing the T-shape of QA automation engineers, reducing development costs.

This approach can be scaled to other teams as well.
