The place of QA in security testing

In the talk, we will consider the relevance of security testing and find its place among other types of testing. We will figure out where and how a tester can be helpful in finding vulnerabilities, even at the functional testing stage. It will be determined how bugs differ from vulnerabilities, which vulnerabilities exist, and those which are easier to master will be demonstrated. We will define examples and analyze some pentester approaches that testers and QA engineers can use. Finally, there will be provided with a guide on how to start, which software to use and what further prospects there are for diving deeper into that particular field.
