Regular Expressions and Testing PDF Reports

Currently there is a very little information available related to systematized approaches of automated testing of services which generate PDF reports. This presentation is a brief description of a working approach applied in automated testing of PDF reporting systems. The demo uncovers where do we face PDF reports and why it is important to utilize automated testing as a part of overall testing. Modules of automated tests and their interaction is described. Advantages and disadvantages of proposed approach are explained.
